Epilepsy Research
Can you help with research into canine idiopathic epilepsy?
The Giant Schnauzer Health Fund has donated £2,000 along with the 3 breed clubs collectively donating a further £3,000 to the Canine Genetics Centre (CGC) at the University of Cambridge, in support of their epilepsy research project.
Their epilepsy research has now been extended to include Giant Schnauzers, more information about the research can be found on the following link: CGC epilepsy research
You can help in the following ways:
1. If you have a Giant diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy contact the CGC to take part in the research: cgc-epilepsy@vet.cam.ac.uk
2. If you have an unaffected Giant Schnauzer over the age of 8 years contact the CGC to take part in the research: cgc-epilepsy@vet.cam.ac.uk
3. Make a donation back to the GSHF to enable the health fund to continue supporting Giant Schnauzer health research. Make a donation here
